I've received such great information here, I thought I'd press my luck....
I am trying to find an open/extra 12v plug on the rear of my JD 4520 CUT tractor so that I could power a 40 gallon Fimco sprayer.
Right now I have wires running from the battery that I plug into, and I'm trying to find an existing connection on the back to use.
On the right hand side, under the roll bar, I found a set of different wires. One says 'RF(indecipherable) ' and underneath that 'Forward (indecipherable)' on the tag, and has a loopback plug, plugged into it. I assume I don't want to use this for anything....
Next to that is an open plug. When testing with a multimeter, it gets power when I turn the Hazards/light switch all the way to the right-field position, I get power to the plug. I assume then that this plug is for the optional field lights? Can anyone confirm they had an open plug back there like that?
Any other options folks would recommend? I have open slots on the fender for toggle switches but assume I still need to find a power source.
Thanks in advance !
