Fords are uncomfortable for me as well. I do not like the seats in the new 150's and I especially don't like the engine compartment. you cannot get to things like the dipsticks without climbing up on the bumper... very poor and the engines are stuffed in, nothing accessable easily. I much prefer the GM seats and the ease of getting to underhood stuff. Don't know about the RAM but I have a Ford and a Chevy so I can compare them. The chevy wins over the Ford hands down. The Ford looks are marginally better but in my view, none of the new trucks look good. They are all kind of fugly.

If Fords had a better idea, they lost it somewhere.

I have no idea about the new Fords but when we bought my wife’s Expedition based on the seats. They felt much better than those in the Tahoe.

The new Chevy seats suck. The 2000s body seats were more comfortable.

That’s one of the biggest reasons I don’t like Ford. The motor is stuffed under the firewall and you can’t reach anything. It’s not like that’s the best they could do either. There’s probably 10 inches between the radiator and the fan. I’ve always liked a Ford cab though. The leaf spring front ends on the older trucks not so much.

Just the opposite here, half the trucks I see are GMs, Dodge probably 2nd place with Ford close behind.

I think it痴 a regional thing. Up here in Mass, I would say Ford easily dominates the truck market. Then GM, then Toyota or Dodge. We were in Texas a little while back.. noticed a ton of Dodge rigs as well as Ford..not so many GMs.. Florida was similar. . Up in Michigan I noticed a lot more GMs than normal, same for Utah.

In our parking lot in VT it's

50% RAM
25% GM
25% Toy
0% Ford

THIS parking lot is (I'm guessing, but...) 0% Bernie mobiles.

Not sure what a Bernie mobile is, but what's the deal with Vermonters and toyota trucks? Never considered them to be particularly good trucks, but Vt. seems full of them. Cross into any of the neighboring states and the number drops right off. Some sort of political statement maybe?

Seeing how the previous accounting totaled 100%, I'd guess 0% too.....unless you're a sports coach: "Now go there and give me 150%!"

A political statement!

Once out west, met some people from there (or was it mid-west). Got to talking, did the obligatory "Where are you from?" Told them we're from NY, but NOT New York City! ..but on the border of Vermont. The lady says: "I've heard it's beautiful there in the fall. I've also heard (in a whisper) its a very liberal state . What does that look like?

I was going to answer "Oh, you know, just your regular variety LGBQT orgies on the village green every Friday night....everyone covered in maple syrup. It's quite spectacular in the fall when the tree colors mix with the rainbow flags"
..but my wife would of punched me.

I should of just said “Lots of Toyota trucks...”

My guess is probably Subaru as every mall is at least 3/4 Subaru with re rest humongous PU's.

Could be. You see more "Bernie for us" or other left-leaning bumper stickers on Suburus than all other makes combined.

Perhaps all Suburus come out of the dealerships wearing Bernie stickers.
Maybe Suburu customers demand it!

What are states where drivers often travel in snow?
Im guessing they just drive pickups and giant Suburbans in the middle America states that get snow.

...but yeah, “Lebanese women” for some reason, have a reputation to like Subaru’s.

Actually I was thinking Bernie mobiles (outside of VT.) were Priuses.

Maybe 10 years ago there was the joke that a pruis wouldn't run if you peeled off the Obama sticker, but since he left office they've become kind of passe, at least around here.

As far as "Lebanese" women and Suburus...I've heard that rumor, but no one of that persuasion that I know drives one.
