Not just the extension, but the type of file itself. Or is that what you meant? /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

When it's time to write your file to disk, look for an option to save it as a JPEG (.jpg extension). You'll probably get a chance to play with compression settings, too. More compression means smaller file size, but less picture quality. Try to find a happy medium. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Hauled a few deer back to house myself and lifted them w/fel to tie to beam in old barn.

This year am looking forward to hanging deer from truss in new barn (really expensive buck pole).

Might be the time to buy a digital camera./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

What state are you from? A friend of ours just shot a 9 pt that scores 140 P&Y behind our house and there is a huge 12 pt running behind here that should score around 180. Another friend of ours shot a 202 B&C a couple years ago. This is my favorite time of the year and congrats on your deer and hopefully I will get one to post this year also.

From Wisconsin. Shot a 12 pt last year that went 150P&Y. Another 8 a few years ago that went 141 - that one is really nice - wide, tall and very symetrical - I think there was only about 1 inch in deductions. But then, they are all nice - doesn't really matter how big they are - only that the experience is enjoyed. Had a buddy call tonight who arrowed a fork horn and was as happy as could be - good for him. Nothing that clears the head better that a day in the woods or some time on the tractor........

I remember when I first started hunting and was extremly happy to see anything let alone get one. We have friends that come up from PA to hunt with us and one of them got a small 8 pt yearling and was extremly happy as were we. It is a great time of year and good luck to everybody this deer season and be careful.
