I think found my next mower....
Stopped in at Betsco/value leader to check on a 6 foot brush hog and he showed me this. He only has 3 until next spring; and these 3 have commitments. I like the ability to pivot 180 degrees. Keith said a few things about the design; it needs a floating hydro. for the system so it will follow the terrain; and he is building a guide for the right outboard side to help it come out of the ditch when you reach the end.
cost will be under 2500. I think with the size of ditches here in Oregon; this will be a perfect addition to my fleet.

expendable-so just throw it away when you get through. Just kidding. extendable.

I like it. Might have to save my nickels and plan on that down the road. I have about a 1000' of fence line I will be cleaning up (taking most of the fence out) and reclaiming the edge.

Make sure to let us know how it works for you.

expendable/extendable.... my spell checker wouldn't find extendable
May not get it for a year or two; I dont have 1000' of fence line to worry about...
Got to admit, it sure is funny....

Mine wouldn't allow it either. Is it a word or am I spelling it wrong.

I picked up the 56" flail (value Leader) last year to do my blueberry field(not the boom mower). Never heard of them before that, but couldn't beat the price $1300 delivered . So far so good , had to grind down some on the front skids to get the bottom hole to line up so I could mow the lowest I could. But I'm happy with it so far, could use some hardened steel blades though. Plain on looking into maybe picking up something later from them.

How wide is that?

Do they have a website?

That looks like a very useful attachment. Now if only i had hydraulics. :( Under $2500, that's a great price for that sophisticated of an implement, it is on my wish list for sure. :D And it even is Yanmar red too!:cool: cant get better than that. :D:laughing::thumbsup:

Excellent!

I want one.

/ expendable flail mower #14
I too am curious where those can be purchased. I want one!!
I have a few places on my property where that would be ideal.

Wow, so do I want one, even though I don't have use for it nor can my tractor run it :D.

Oh, I do have dual rear remotes though

/ expendable flail mower #16
I would need to add remotes also. I am thinking on how much I want to spend and what I want it to look like (factory parts or aftermarket). I think I will do the remotes in this next year and then not have to add that cost to every attachment I think I want that needs hydraulics...

There is an eBay seller that sells that brand from Creswell, Oregon.

Search eBay for flail mower, find the one in Creswell, perhaps he can give you more info..

Awesome!!!
Bought my flail from Keith at Betstco last year and love it. The Value Leader website is atrocious IMHO, best to link from eBay to their store site. Keith is great to deal with on the phone/email.

yes this will be offered by Keith at Betstco in Creswell Oregon; but not untill spring. The 3 he has; one is his, and the other two have commitments. he has someone who is going to test them this winter and spring and see if any bugs come out. So as of now he has none for sale-- He did get a cat 2 one in by mistake; but he said he would sell it locally.
