Dad sent me these pics from a exhibit of one mans personal collection of toy riding tractors, plus a couple of classic's, and the first "horned" cowboy I've ever seen!
(Sorry if quality is a little blurry:()

Those pedal tractors are neat.

Some can fetch a few bucks too

Wow, the memories... I drove a '57 Ford just like that: 2-dr, even the same green/white color scheme. This was in 1966.

The car had what was called a "Police Interceptor" V-8, no idea how big it was, but I did find out it would go well over 100mph after a good, long run....

312 c.i. Y block, don't know the HP. My first car was a '57 red/white convertible w/3 deuces, one I wish I'd kept.

Curious to where in Carthage? Just drove through that town today to get on 22 north to 49, to 421.

Thanks, Milkman! I always wondered... back then, I was more into learning how to drive --fast..:ashamed:-- than about engines. Just remember the stickers that were on the rocker covers, I think. (Or was it the air cleaner cover?) The car had a very well-worn automatic.
