Hi,

Been playing around with my new 5065e. I am really enjoying the tractor, what a beast. When I sit on that thing I almost feel like a real farmer.

Sorry I uploaded the pics but having difficulty getting them posted here.

Anyway, It has a vertical exhaust which is too tall for my garage. I bought the horizontal kit, but it seems that the main attachment for the loader is in the way, also read all the negative stuff on this site about the horizontal exhaust.

Any suggestions? If I go with the horizontal, do I have to disassemble the FEL? I'm only looking to reduce height 6'' or so.

Thanks

I'd try to figure out another way to get it inside, maybe cutting a piece of the vertical exhaust so that a part can be removed for running it into the building. You'll get way more fumes with the horizontal exhaust and that would be my main reason for not changing it.

yes I think I like that better. Hope the dealer will return the horizontal. So far it won't work with the bucket attachment anyway.

I would think as long as you haven't done anything with the horizontal kit, or damaged it in any way, that they would take it back. But then again some dealers can be picky.
