This is about the Everything Attachments folks demonstrating excellent customer service. I bought a 72 HD rotary cutter from EA in March. I am having some issues with our MX5800ç—´ electrically operated PTO sudden PTO engagement when operating the EA mower. IMO this is not due to any problem with the mower. This PTO engagement issue is the subject of a thread I started in the Owning/Operating Forum. EA has been very helpful in my efforts to solve this PTO issue. They suggested that the PTO shaft from the tractor to the mower might be a weak link. In fact, that shaft did not have enough overlap of the two components due to my having installed Patç—´ quick-connect system on the MX, which moved the mower 4-5 farther away from the tractor PTO shaft. I had planned on using a tractor-PTO shaft extension. The EA folks advised against that, so I decided to buy from EA a longer PTO shaft. The mower has a clip clutch, so the new PTO shaft was the integrated type with the clip clutch included. EA refused to let me pay for the new longer shaft even though I insisted that I wanted to pay for it because EA had no responsibility for the reason why I wanted it. They wouldn稚 even let me pay for the shipping. They just asked me to return the original mower PTO shaft in the box in which the new one came, and they even provided a prepaid return Fedex shipping label. And this came after Ted Corriher personally tried to get me to let him ship me free of charge new blades for the mower, just in case there is some slight damage to the blades. I declined because I have checked the blades, and will take them off the mower to make sure there is no damageå‚*ut if there is some damage, I did it, not EA. I just wanted everyone to know of my very positive experience in dealing with EA both with purchases and now with these recent events.
