Is the EX3200 a Yanmar exclusive for Cub ?
or is this frame sold else where ??

Thanks,

Nick

It is a new joint venture between Cub and Yanmar. As far as I'm aware the marriage between Mitsubishi and Cub that existed for a number of years is over as well as their connection to Diahatsu (sp?). The Yanmar-Cub is supposed to be a completely new product for the diesel CUTs and possibly larger models. The Cub Site doesn't show any of those other model CUTs like it used to. More models are supposed to follow this year/in the future.

I spoke to a local dealer about the new ex3200. (emerichsales.com) He said the new tractor is very similar to the John Deere model 790, but with hydro, bigger flywheel, higher output pump, and lift capacities.

That would make sense as Yanmar and Deere have been a couple for a while.

I really love the look of that tractor, and loved it when I drove it. I was just a little skeptical of the loader and 3 point capacities. I thought they were a little low for the HP.

Still looking at them though.

Yes there are more models to come. I think he said there will be models up to 49 horsepower. I don't know for sure, but usually a machine that size would be available in a shuttle. You should check out their website. it talks alot about that machine. emerichsales.com

I looked at these today for the first time (in person). I was pretty impressed. The dealer gave me a price of $16,200..... not sure how good that price is compared to other dealers, but i was just browsing and suspect if we got down to brass tacks i could do a little better. I found it to be a pretty 'no frills' machine. Operator controls were basic without alot of plastic bezels and such around them. The dealer told me a 29 hp model is available now (same tractor), but since its only $500 less, he didn't bother to order any. He said a smaller, 25hp compact was due next. The biggest disappointment i had with it, was there are no split brakes. I find them absolutely necessary in muddy or slippery conditions. Overall...... it seemed to be alot of tractor for the money.

Is there an ETA on the 25HP model ?
Can not tell for sure from the pics, but does the backhoe sit tight in to the tractor, as where other CUT's the backhoe is hanging out there a couple of feet.

The 24hp sub compact is due late this spring. And its a jewel of a little tractor. The bX better lookout!

It's being built in Adairsville, Georgia at the Yanmar excavator plant thats being expanded to accomodate the Cub/Yanmar joint venture. The name is Compact Tractor Manufacturing or CTM. This is a much deeper relationship than Cub had with Mitsubishi. Employees from each company were brought in to staff it.

The Ex3200 was the first of the lot and came from Japan. Future models staying in the under 50hp class with come from US the Yanmar plant. It will be about 2010 before the line really fills out.
