Hi Everyone..

First... I purchased a new EX3200 with FEL and 60" finish mower last summer and am loving this machine!! I just purchased a 4' Box scraper, 4' Tiller and 5' Rake.. I am looking to buy a plow.

I am glad I found this forum to chat and ask questions!! .. Now to the question :)

I am wanting to do some plowing and was hoping to get some advice on what plow to use/purchase .. should I use a one or two bottom? Has anyone tried using a two bottom plow with this machine? Any details would be great.. Heck .. shoot me some links to some plows maybe .. whatever :)

Hey neighbor! I'm just south of Canton, in Dover. Actually closer to Zoar.

Hi guys,

A lot of Ohioans here!
And a lot of "Is winter ever going to go away", Ohioans here.

I'm from Clinton, just south of Akron.

Does the Cub website show a recommended plow for the 3200?

Curt

Gonefishin, If you don't me asking. How much did you pay for your EX3200 with the FEL and Mower? They are advertising a "free" loader if purchased before 4/30 and I am curious to see what people have been paying for them before the offer. Feel free to PM me if you prefer.

Pull a 12" inch two bottom plow fine, 14" inch maybe, 16" inch will probably make it stutter. An Ideal purchase would be if you could find one of the old two bottom plows that farmers used with the Red Belly Fords (8n) or one of the old Massey Ferguson plows.

If I remember correctly it was right around or just under $20,000 with the FEL and mower.. that is including taxes and everything. I know I got them to come down on the tractor and FEL to around $16000 before taxes!!

Good luck .. you'll like the tractor! :)

That is great advice, thank you. I have been thinking of purchasing a used 12" two bottom and giving it a shot. I have been eyeballing craigslist like a hawk for a used one bottom with no luck so my only choice really is a two bottom.

Have you checked out everythingattachments.com. He has all kinds of equipment for sale and he even has videos showing how to use different implements. He is also a member of this site. Wish I knew how to post the link, but I'm not that computer literate. Good luck and that is a nice tractor.

You may want to consider trying to talk to Wallace on here. I beleive that is his name. He is out of tennesse and he is the one that told me he runs a two bottom no problem w/ his ex3200. He is strictly a cub yanmar dealer. Seem to be a very nice guy to work with.

Hmm. Looked him up but the only Wallace I found is out of PA. The person you are talking about probably is the one I need to speak to for sure :) Thanks!

I've had a 3200 for over a year. Used it both year's to break our garden. Also used it last fall to break a couple of new food plots. I use a single bottom 14" plow. I believe the book says it can pull a 2x12. I went with the single 14" because its easier to set up.

Sockwell,
Where did you buy yours? I live in Millbrook, my land is in Verbena, and I work some in Sylacauga.

I bought mine Christmas of 2009 for $14,900 with FEL at Holt Equipment in Tallassee. I did the 0% for 3 yrs, and paid cash for a 5' bushhog. I have since bought a 14" middlebuster and a used 5.5' boxblade.

I believe their name was Outdoor Distributors. I'm not sure they're in business anymore. I bought at their Chelsea store. It has been closed quite a while. I paid $13,900 for tractor and loader at 0%, 60 months.
