Hello all, it's been a long time! I took a break for a few years as we relocated from PA to IL (Chicago), and now to Northern Maine! The EX2900 was put up into storage for about 4 years, and boy am I glad to be back in the seat.
This last couple of years has been relearning the use of our little EX2900 and changing things up for our extreme weather difference here in Northern Maine.
Doing all we can to keep our little "Honey Bee" as the family calls it running well is always key. One thing is that now that we're running her harder than before and in the extreme cold some service issues have cropped-up along with many more hours on the clock.
To that end I've been trying to source a true service manual for the EX2900/EX3200 (should be the same) but can't get it anywhere. I've talked to my "local" Yanmar dealer who is about 2 hours away and he can't seem to get one for me. I've searched the forums and any links that appeared to be helpful are dead or "scam looking" with "free registrations" but asking for credit card, etc.
Can anyone here on the forums direct me to a good source to get this service manual? it would be really helpful for extended maintenance and getting wiring diagrams and the like as we're looking at adding additional LED work lights for the short days and perhaps some rear remotes.
