Got the EA 60", an amazing fit for the L48. REally well built, thanks to those that kept on harping on the overall value.

I got an aftermarket kit put on by the local Kubota shop, but the lines are in harm's way. How have yall routed your grapple lines?

The local Kubota dealer installed my grapple and 3rd function valve. I will upload a pic but a verbal description will help. The valve is attached to the vertical FEL arm - right at the base of the arm. The hydraulic lines run out the FEL arm. Everything is well out of harms way. I've had the grapple seven + years and not had a single problem.

I should have been more clear, the kubota dealer added this kit to the power beyond port of the load value body which I understand is standard procedure. All that is good. They also welded a connection block to the FEL bar with the connections facing downward. The lines from there to the actual EA hit the ground quite a bit and appear to be abraiding. I tied them up with wire ties but it keeps popping.

It looks to me that 90 degree connectors, or somewhat longer lines supported by wire ties would be the answer. I understand you do not want them too long or too short for the rotation of the grapple itself. Is there some sort of auto-retractor for the lines that are actually attached to the grapple?

Yes, I put a bungee cord in the middle of the lines attached with ty wraps, and the free end is hooked onto a fitting up high on the front end loader arm. This bungee holds up the hoses, but allows them to fully flex downward. To me this is the ideal solution, I can't think of a better one. Replace the bungee every few years.

On my Danuser Intimdator has a spring tower for the lines. On all the grapples use a rubber bungee around the FEL cross bar to police the lines and keep them clear of the ssqa latches. The lines are also sheathed in nylon protector sleeve. I use el QDs on the implement sides just aligns better.

"An auto retractor for the hydraulic lines" - yes, as k0ua indicated, bungee cords.. I use double bungee cords and replace every couple of years. They attach to the load leveler stand off bracket and wrap around the hydraulic lines. The hydraulic lines have heavy duty nylon sleeve wrap.

That's it!!! Thanks!

I love the EA, I looked at a lot of them, and I have to say the lighter weight is nice. I picked up some amazing stuff this weekend!!!
