Mowing Everyone having a good mowing season?

Curt, unfortunately, I got about a half inch today, too, but at least that's better than the 2+ inches a day the last couple of days.

I gave up mowing every week, its every other week now. With gas at over $3 per gal and since I use almost 5 gal to mow the whole lawn, it will just have to look a little shaggy.

We've been having nice showers here in central Pa. It's been enough to keep the grass and corn green and I've been mowing about every week. It seems like you don't pay much attention to the weather until you have crops planted.

We have a possibility of strong storms in NoVa today. Supposed to have all week but they were just noisy, dry storms.

Season up here in the pucker brush started out kinda damp,but all in all mowing been good...except for couple of rocks that bloom this year also yellow jacket hive...OUCH.

"Replace PTO"...sure hope my CC 20/42 doesn't have the same illness.

I've mowed approximately 5-6 times here in NCKS, mainly buffalo grass. Yeah, it's been a wet year. Everything is still pretty green for this time of year, feel pretty fortunate. The 1782 and the 455 are working very well. Don't know which one I like better. Happy mowing.

Mowed a bunch this spring in northern Indiana, however, since the dry spell, it has been 2 1/2 weeks since a mowing. Got 3/10ths of an inch yesterday, and I will be mowing tomorrow.

Amazing how fast the yard greens up.

After not mowing for several weeks due to dry conditions here in North East Ohio. We got 3 inches of rain. Sure made the grass green up! Woo Hoo!

Got to have some quality time on the Cub!

I started a drainage project last week. (NE Ohio) The backhoe was really struggling to get through that rock hard soil. I got about 30 feet of a 100 feet done.

That night it rained about two inches, it was sloppy the next day and my boots weighed 30 Lbs each, but the rain was sure welcome! The diggin got a lot easier that next day also.

It rained 1/2 inch today, a good test for my project, I'm always anxious after back filling. I attached a few pix of the carnage!

The grass is greening up quick. But dang, it's almost August!
