Hello all.
I have a chance of getting some older 3 point implements from my Fiancé's deceased parents. just a couple questions tho.

6' finish mower, Douglas brand, PTO tractor side may or may not be around the acreage.... no idea where in Canada I can buy blades. no idea how good the gear box is or if anything is seized... not sure of value
5' disc is a King Kutter brand which i know father in-law bought at our local peavey mart. in good shape IMO
2 bottom plow. older. (actually father in-law bought it from my mom after she inherited her dads farm...) he never used it. never had coulters on it as far as I know.
hoping to get out there this weekend and maybe do some negotiating... if I can get them I would like to clean them up and paint them.

That plow looks like similar vintage to my old Towner plow, which I have pulled behind my Ford 1310 few times when breaking ground etc.

I also wish mine had coulters and bet they would be helpful.

The Towner plow was obviously meant for larger tractor than mine, but it came with the package back in 1997 and can pull it OK in 4x4.






PS. I usually brush some Fluid Film on it after cleanup.

So far I am unable to find blades for the Douglas finish mower in Western Canada....i checked the model and serial # of the mower. (3000-72 and serial is 0689722515-30)
starting to think it can just be put in the scrap heap.....
Walco Equipment in Ontario says the blade part #s are - 176006. Side discharge...
might not be worth ordering out of the US IMO.... seems like there available online out of the US.....
any help would be appreciated.

I Ihave that same mower .and it seems to be good quality, I bought it used to mow up at my farm.I did find blades online for it but never ordered them.I will see if i can still find the site.
