Error message and oil pressure indicator

Have a MF4608 with 64 hours on it. Today the engine pressure light when on along with the SPN (suspect parameter number) 100 and the failure mode indicator (FMI) of 18. Any clue what may be happening and what these may mean?

No. I was doing loader work. It came on and off a number of times in a few minutes. I parked it and then went back 10 minutes later and the warning light and the number codes were gone.

How old is your machine?

Got it in July 2013. Only 68.3 hours.

There is an update for the oil pump drive gear retaining bolts. The bolts will break and the drive gear can slip causing a low pressure situation. What dealer did you get it from? They should know about it. There was an notice a month or so ago. Supposedly no harm as it's a very quick no pressure when the idle speed slows and the bolts fall into a cavity in the timing cover. But if the bolts are broken the timing cover has to come off to fish them out.

Though it should be fine, I would limit use. It's a lot easier to not cause damage in the first place than have some thing get messed up and have more repairs. Let them make the call on that one. Of course it's a great time of year when no ones busy.

Do you know your serial number?

Yes on the s/n. Good in use as I am clearing land and get by with it in low gear with no loads. I'll ask the dealer to confirm.
