This 2 year old was at the Duchess County fair last summer. He weighs in at 1500+- i'm told. 7/8s percheron, 1/8 appaloosa. All spit and fire too. Shoeing him, if ya can find a farrier who'll do it, costs a whopping 100 USD.

Gorgeous animal.

Here's another, with some perspective. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif That handler is about 5'7".

Later, she had him bridled and was bare backing him in a small arena.

Kinda makes ya wonder about the term "horse power". Seems to be quite a relative term. This youngster looks to be about 7 or 8 hp.
