Engine swap on toro Zero Turn.

I have a 2007 toro 50" zero turn. It came equipped from the factory with a 21 horse single cylinder Kohler courage engine. Well the Kohler engine had a cracked block so I chucked it in the scrap heap. I found a Used Briggs and Stratton V twin Intek on eBay and I bought it. Problem is, It didn't come with a voltage regulator. Also, I unknowingly cut off and threw away the diode coming off of the alternator. My Question is, does anyone on here know what Voltage regulator and diode i need for my engine? The model number is 407777-0124-E1. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I did something similar and have the same engine. Have you found out the necessary part numbers? I think I need an alternator. A new battery dies after about an hour of use. Thanks.
