Engine siezed

Slip clutchs can be adjusted. I would probably back off of the nuts on the springs a bit if the implement stalls the tractor without the clutch slipping. Then again, it may have slipped but the load of the clutch working against the stopped tiller could have exceeded the output of the engine and stalled it.

I don't think anything is wrong with your starter unless you tried too long to turn it over and it got hot.

Reading thru your posts, I think the PTO needed disengaging to restart due to the rock hung up in the mower.

Night mowing on unfamiliar ground is not recommended by me! Also, it is very detrimental to diesels to have them working hard, stalling them out and not immediately starting them back up. I understand you tried and couldn't and I'm just writing this to inform other members.

Hope yours is OK. Sounds like it might be.
