Does someone ever replace a Satoh 650 engine by a more easy to find and purchase engine? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I have heard that someone sells a diesel to replace it, but I don't know who. What do you need for your engine. I have most of the rebuilding and repair parts in stock as well as lots of used parts. Many are at far better prices than OEM. Call 800-609-5110. Bill

I have been told by a reliable source that Toyota has a small diesel engine that can be installed into most tractors. It requires that you make an adapter plate approximately 1 inch thick to marry it to the transmission, and it may be necessary to extend the spline slightly.

I would check out Bill and get some good advice from him... He is great to deal with, helps you get the right parts, and serves as the unofficial Yoda of Mitsi/Satohs... Going stock is usually the best route if you can get the parts.
