Engine oil filler cap.

Need engine oil filler cap for a John Deere 445 with 22hp Kawasaki fd620d engine.Dealer keeps ordering the wrong cap.

I suggest you go to https://jdparts.deere.com and look up the part yourself and order it. This is the same system the dealer uses.

Setting up the account is free, and I use it to order all my parts.

You'll still have to go to the dealer to pick up the part, unless you want to pay the cost to have it shipped from the dealer to you and incur another delay.

You want the kawasaki OEM part. JD changed the design. I think they gave you the parts for free. but they charged labor, and you had to get the tractor there, which was 200 dollars which was out of our budget for an oil fill cap.

The part number you are replacing is M114465.
If you want the JD parts, you need:
M147324 oil fill plug
M147334 o-ring
MIU11645 valve cover
MIU11358 valve cover gasket

from the greenpartstore.com it is around 40 bucks. However it screws on, and doesn't blow off. I don't know whether that is good or bad since the vent can get plugged.

The OP was an old one, but hopefully timms139 did find the right part.
Nice of you to try to help, and your info will very likely help someone else.

My son has my old 445, and never heard of a recall on it. What serial numbers were affected, if you know.
