Engine not shutting down

Thank you all for your input.
It is not possible to right now to find the problem because it is currently working. There is an engine stop knob that I assume closes the intake off. But I have not tried it when the problem happens. I will next time I think of it when it don't shutdown.

Does anyone have any links to wiring diagrams?

The engine stop knob does not close off the intake, it operates the same lever as the fuel shut-off solenoid to shut the fuel off at the injection pump.

I had the same problem but noticed the key fell out of the ignition switch.

I know your problem is more involved but I'd look at the switch. I had some weird starting issues and when the key started to fall out I replaced the switch. Problem solved.....I think.

Had this issue. Check the 10 amp timer relay fuse.
