Tractor
Kubota B2320
I purchased my B2320 with bucket last July 4th. I have around 15 hours on the tractor. It always seems to have an unusual noise or vibration from under the hood. I have inspected for loose parts but found nothing. Has anyone else had this experience?

Broken motor mount or missing or weak cylinder. Is this at all rpms or just low or high throttle?

I notice it at idle and mid RPM. Strange. New tractor so hard to think broken mount or dead cylinder.

I'd still look for something loose with an easy fix. Maybe the hood hinge. Mine was missing a keeper pin there when new. I can't think of anything particular but most likely it is some simple little thing. Maybe somebody could rev it or look with you to spot the culprit.
Cheers,
Mike

15 hours? It's probably seizing up from lack of use! ;)

Sometimes you can get a harmonics vibration noise at a certain RPM. I noticed one on my GL3240 at a certain RPM, 2100, so I avoid that RPM. Slightly lower or higher RPM and no noise in my case. I found it was the metal hydraulic lines making the noise (vibrating).

Mine gets noises at certain RPMs. I think it's sheet metal touching and I've been to lazy to try and find it. It only seems to vibrate at a certain RPM and I just stay out of that range.

I had an issue with my Kubota wheel loader. Thought I was in for a world of hurt and expense. I actually didn't use it for a month or two fearing the worst. I even added Sea Foam to the crankcase to no avail and tried loosening every injector line to find a problem cylinder. Finally crawed under the machine only to find a bolt loose that holds the exhaust bracket! Talk about relieved!

Diesels are funny. Like the other post said, at certain RPM they can create harmonics. Sometimes for no particular reason, sitting at a light, my plastic dash on my Duramax starts to Vibrate.

Every dam thing on my Steiner Diesel vibrates at low idle making it sound like a piece of junk. A litte higher RPM and it's fine!
