Aug 22, 2014 / Engine hesitating to start. #2 Winmac Gold Member Joined Dec 31, 2011 Messages 366 Tractor Landini 6860 If the valves are properly adjusted ( set at 1/4" past tdc @ .004") there may still be a issue with the decompression mechanism on the camshaft. Sometimes the lobe wears away or the spring breaks.
