When I got my Kubota F series mower the wiring had been chopped up quite a bit.
I tidied it up and got the glow plugs working and some of the wiring wasn't making any sense to me.
Being used to diesels that activated the fuel solenoid to run when I was tiding up the wiring I ran power from the switch to the solenoid,
all of a sudden she wouldn't run and it was getting quite warm on the solenoid.
that was the first time I had seen an engine that used power to shut down the fuel.
In many ways I still prefer the manual pull to stop fuel shut offs.
