Engine Compatibility

I have a John Deere F935 that has a very tired Yanmar 3TNA72UJ2F engine in it. I was planning to rebuild it, but am looking into putting a low hour engine in instead. I understand that this engine was specd by JD, and I have to go through them to get all of the parts. However, the 3TNA72 series was used in a lot of different stuff. Can anyone tell me if all of the 3TNA72 engines share the same block? If they do, I am thinking I could get any 3TNA72, swap out any of the UJ2F specific parts and be on my way. Is this correct, or am I missing something?
