Empty trailer from Shreveport to Jax 10/16/11

I am going to be leaving a little town just south of Shreveport, La sometime late Sunday evening and heading east to Jacksonville, Fl. Just thought I would advise the members in case anyone has something that needs to be transported. Trailer was used to haul a smaller backhoe and has two 7K axles.
I will be pushed for time on the way back, so I can't do too much out of route, but am willing to consider any slight detours.
I will be back at work on Tuesday.
Fuel costs for easy loads, a little more for the heavier or harder. Any detours will cost normal freight rates that will have to be agreed upon. I will not have any types of tie downs, such as chains or straps, but if they are required, you buy and you keep them when the load comes off at your place.

I hate dragging an empty trailer around, so somebody buy something for me to haul on this trip...lol!!

You must have bought an AllPro trailer. I made the trip back in July and am quite happy with the trailer. Watch out for FL drivers. They are terrible drivers!!! No offense to all you FL folks.

Their trailers lack some of the "nice" features of some of the high $ name brands, but it is still a good trailer for a great price.

As far as what it can haul. It's a 7k lb trailer and I dont plan on overloading mine!

Not an Allpro trailer, this one is titled as an "BM" manufactured one. No clue who that is, and it didn't show up in Florida's list of manufacturers when I went to tag it. At 3800 pounds, with 7K axles it leaves just enough to haul my JD. The fifth wheel tongue was changed by my friend when he got it home and realized the original one was bent.
If I do much hauling with it, I will probably see if I can get Tiger Axles out of Shreveport to match the axles with a third one (that is where the other two came from)
I need to go over some of the welds as it has a few cracks showing up. (NOT GOOD!!) All in all, it was well worth what I paid.
As far as the Florida drivers, most are above average in their driving skills, as we have to allow for all the tourists and snowbirds that come visiting, and have Florida plates on their cars because it is cheaper than buying tags in some other states. (However they are rapidly closing that gap!!!)
