Good morning -
I hope everyone has been doing well and enjoying some warmer weather.
I am having a conundrum regarding my YM3110d starting.
As of yesterday, when I turn the key to accessory I get no lights on the dash. I put a voltmeter on the positive post on the starter solenoid and BEFORE I turn the key I have 12v read and when I turn the key the voltage drops to 0.
I was able the day prior to connect jumper cables from my truck to the tractor battery and got lights when turning the key to accessory and then the tractor would attempt to start but turned over very slowly like it had a dead battery. Because of this I took the battery back out and to Interstate for testing and they re-verified it was good (since it was new, but I wanted to check). On two occasions as well when I've turned the key to start I've heard a pop but have been unable to identify any point of issue with the wiring. I did have issues leading up to this where I had to jump start the tractor each time but I'd gotten a red GEN light and the previous battery was 3 years old and was in the tractor when I purchased it so I assumed it was just the battery going bad.
Some things I have done:
I'm going to pull the kickplate on the dash to get at the wiring under the dash to see if anything weird in there. Any other thoughts of things for me to try? I have a big need to get my field cut before next Monday and am running out of time since I unfortunately can only work on it after work in the evening for a bit at a time.
Thanks so much!
David

Some things I have done:
- New battery, load tested by Interstate Batteries
- New terminals on + and - cables
- Verified negative is connected solid to the frame
- Verified voltage at the battery
- Verified voltage at the starter solenoid
- Replaced starter solenoid with a new from Hoye
