Electrical Outlet kit

I was reviewing an option list for my 4310 and ran into this and wondered what it might be.

LVB25364 7 Pin Electrical Outlet Socket Kit

Anyone know what this kit provides?

cef2lion, It is a trailer connector for lights and an additional power supply, 12VDC.Lights being the same as on an auto,tail, stop,turn,4way,brakes. See no reason for this on a tractor, unless you were going to tow a wagon or trailer with brakes. This is referred to as a RV trailer connector.

If u go out on hi-way w/ a trailer or other attachment u NEED lights on it after dark.
I don't know about CUT but I think it is ALL SMV equipment.
These are new regulations, we (all farmers) have to have lights as wide as tractor or implement is.
Look at new tractors that have the new light systems.
The new Kilbros grain cart, Case 24' grain head and 15' JD NT drill have same plug as our new p/u trucks.
I would imagine in an accident the ambulance chasers will be working OT if the SMV doesn't have lights.
