Electrical Adaptor

Has anyone ever seen an adaptor which would plug into a 7 pin connector on my truck and give me a 12 V cigarette lighter socket?

I need to plug in a 12 V compressor in the bed of my pickup. I know there is 12 V somewhere in the 7 pin socket there, and this would be the perfect solution.

You should have a live 12 line in that 7 pin for charging RV batteries etc.

Cheapest way to go, I think, would to buy a 7 pin plug and a lighter socket and wire up yourself as I have never seen such an item.

Do a Goggle for the wiring schematic for trailer plug ins and it will tell what colour wire does what.

I was like the other guys; no big deal to buy the cigarette lighter, a 7-pin plug, and a little wire and make your own. But I'd never seen this adapter. That looks like an even better way to go, Terry.

They also make a 12v extension cord that would plug into the cigarette lighter in the truck. I have carried one for years, but can't remember where I picked it up. It is a coiled configuration and stretches out to about 20 ft.

Fellas,
I bought a 12V sprayer to spray deer plots and kill weeds....hopefully.
I need to get 12V from my Kubota. The Shurflo pump draws 7.3 Amps and the tank is only 25 gallon so it would not run more than 15 minutes or so. Suggestions as to WHERE to grab power? All the way up at the battery? Ign switch? Starter solenoid? I don't think that the taillights would carry that amperage......
