Electric Tailgate Lift

Anyone have any pics or plans for a receiver mounted electric tailgate lift. I need something to load barrels onto my pickup.

The manual for the Harbor Freight tailgate lift might be a good starting point:

You are probably going to find that it's cheaper just to buy one from Harbor Freight(if shipping isn't too expensive):
500 lb winch powered lift

At least it would be a good starting point for a project....reinforce or replace parts as desired.

That might just be enough info to get me going. I can buy a similar unit up here for $450.00 CDN., but since I have a winch that I'm not using I thought I might be able to build one for less that would suit my needs better.
I ned to handle 50 Gal barrels of WVO for my biodiesel production. I run it in my yanny 195D and a chev pickup with a 6.5 turbo.
