How long does the edit function stay active?

Think Mohammed said one hour for quick edits, or poster's remorse editing and 24 hrs for continued editing? A mod would say for sure.

I would like to see a 7 day edit. Some of us might not go back and look at the post until later, and after reading, you realized you misspelled one or several items. You might just want to correct some info, or add a name.
