I picked up a 40 year old miller econo twin welder dirt cheep. It was bought,installed and only used a few times for small projects. It looks new almost. I'll wire it up this weekend and give it a try. Anyone ever use one of these machines. I was told they were very common in the day. Any info will help. Thanks Andy

B4 wiring it up, I'd take the cover off, clean all the contacts and blow the accumulated dirt out with compressed air. Just because it was used little don't mean it's 'like new'.....

That was the first thing i did when I got it home. I am an electrican in a power plant and deal with old equipment all the time. Some is good other stuff is junk. Just have to open it up and look for your self. Always check before You power it up. Andy
