Ecofans stove top fans??

Mine's a wood stove, and I like the free heat. I understand what you mean about the convenience of LP though. I have been around a few pellet stoves and could never stand the noise. My employer used to rent a mobile home from a colleague and the stove was right next to the TV; when that came on I couldn't hear a thing. You might as well be sitting right next to a Miller hot air furnace.

I was talking to a guy today, he said he buys 25lb bags of pellets, I didn't know they had anything but 40lb bags.

Picked up the ecofan this morning and mounted on my LP gas stove.My thoughts are just OK as far as air movement.IMHO it would be better fan with more heat from a wood stove verses LP gas stove.A little bit of buyers remorse.

Take it back or give it to a friend with a hot top wood stove.

I've got one for my wood stove, it works as advertised. I know the outfit that sold mine (Lee valley tools) sells one for gas stoves, it works at a lower temp. I've had mine for 6 or more years, no problems starting.

Pellet stoves can be all over the place sound wise. The 2 I have are more quiet than quite a few I've been near.

I did buy the lower heat model for my LP stove.Temps have been in the 30,s & 40,s here so our stove has not really ran that much. That might be a issue also?The testing will continue.LOL..

Harmon? I've been told they are the quietest. When staying in rental units, they don't have the best quality appliances.

Don't feel to bad. I succumbed to the hype also. With a different type stove, it may have been all you'd hoped for. I have made worse purchases.
