Echo are well made saw...I think the 7310 is probably their best saw. It's a closed port saw. Just like the Stihl and Husky pro saw...all closed port saws.

All the other echo's seem to be open port transfer saws. They are less expensive to make and are considered more of a homeowner type saw.

Did you ever find a hard-shell case?
Been looking for one for my 620P with 24" bar.

Nice saw, glad you're happy with it. Love my Echo's

I really don't trust the stock Echo air cleaner. It has sealing issues where it mounts to the intake baffle. You have 2 choices, get the 'o' ring kit or purchase the foam air cleaner velocity stack from Red Beard or Saw Salvage.

I just added my own o-ring, but it is definitely a design flaw.

You actually need TWO. One on the snorkel and one on the fixing stud on the top of the stock filter.

Echo 590 620 is a closed port cylinder too. See those upper quad transfers.

Uppers and lowers.

Thank you, i really like the CS7310 saw. Its plenty enough saw for me.
No, i haven`t found a hard-shell case for it yet. So i`m still looking around.
