I'd say pull the caps to make your adjustment, and them buy some new caps in case you ever need warranty service. I bought extra caps online once, they were cheap.

Now days I wouldn't run a new saw of any brand without making sure it's not lean, fuel, altitude and temp all effect how it's tuned. It's really best to learn how to tune one yourself as a lot of dealers won't pull the limiter caps. And yes regardless of the paper HP a CS670 with a slight muff modd cuts real good for 67cc. Steve

Hi: I've had saw dealerships and done a lot of reparing of numorous brands of saws over the years and still do but only as a hobby as I'm retired now. In our area the most popular makes are husky, stihl and jonsered and in my experiance the easiest to get parts for. My thoughts are that you would be best to stay with one of these brands ,of course the service in your area could be a factor . Which ever your choice, good luck.

Echo has by far the best online parts and they are REASONABLE compared to Stihl and Husky, I have a dealer 12 miles away but online is way more convenient not to mention gas saved plus no tax. Yes there is shipping but if you need it fast most dealers will hit you up for that also. Steve
