ECHO 330T anybody have or use one?

Cut a few loads of firewood this weekend and to break in the Echo CS360. This saw cuts good and is light. It seemed like it had more power after I used it for a few tanks of fuel. I cut up some Wild Cherry trees that had blown down on the ridge top. Nice little top handle saw.:thumbsup:

I replaced a husky rancher 55 with an Echo 500P. As far as Iam concerned the 500P is a far better saw. Lighter, less vibtations and easyer to start.

I have been impressed with all of the Echo equipment that I have bought lately including a leaf blower, a straight shaft weed eater and the CS360 top handle chain saw. If my first impressions are any indication I should be well pleased.:thumbsup:

My little Echo CS360T ran better after a couple tanks of fuel. Got more responsive and more power. If it doesn't break, I'll be happy with it.

It doesn't seem to like that bar oil they sell at TSC though, if the temperature falls below freezing. Gums up the clutch area, have had to clean it out twice after just a few minutes run time in cold weather. After the second cleaning, refilled with Stihl bar oil and it ran fine. Above 40 degrees, the TSC bar oil runs OK through it.

Keep in mind Echo saws (and a lot of other brands) need to be tuned richer by the dealer or you, as they come set lean they will bog easy and could burn up. The limiter caps need to be pulled to tune right. With a muff modd and tuning Echo saws cut a LOT faster than stock. Steve
