Weird situation today that when after thinking I 'removed' the ebrake ...the brakes remain engaged. Wondering if I pressed the pedal too hard (I was on a decent decline and wanted to make sure I engaged the brake good & hard, plus I'm about 240lbs). I'm pretty sure I set the ebrake properly (pressed pedal, pulled up on ebrake clip, let go of pedal - brake was on). Sames as I'd done 100s of times before. Pretty sure, too, when I was ready to release the ebrake that I ...just pressed the pedal --- but can't remember if I heard the click of it releasing. But for sure, brakes are locked on.

I never inspected the brake pedal/ebrake config prior to this to know what might be out of whack now. Here's some pictures I just took. If someone knows what I've done or what's happened, please let me know.

It is possible that there is too much slack on you brake pedal. With too much travel on the brake pedal, it went past the parking brake stop.
I didn't have a manual in front of me, but I would expect to have about 1 1/2 to 2 inches of travel on the brake pedal. How much pedal movement does your tractor have?

Virtually no travel now. But usually it痴 around the 11/2 to 2 you mention

Does the parking paw look like it is centered in the notched bar? Could the bolt that holds the paw loosened up?
To get the parking paw back in place, I would remove the two pins that connect to the brake assembly. That will let you push the pedals down and at the same time turn the paw clockwise to get it back on the notched rail.
I think if you remove the bolt that holds the paw on you may have a tough time getting It back on with the spring.

Try not to laugh too hard but: What痴 the paw?

The piece that is attached to the pin that you pull up on to set the brake.

After taking a closer look, you should be about to just remove the bolt that holds the paw in place. Release the pedal and put things back in place.

Take a hammer and screwdriver and unlatch it. Then check brake adjustment.

The piece with the red arrow pointing to it?

Sorry to be a dolt, but "how" on both? Where do I place the screw driver when I whack it with hammer?

What's the adjustment process?
