Has anyone ever used one of the cheaper clutch assemblies (disc, pressure plate, pilot and throwout bearings and arbor tool) sold on ebay for about $150-$200. Wondering if these clutch parts for older tractors are all made at the same place but just sold at different prices. Looking to hear from anyone with experience with these parts. Thanks.

I bought one to put in my Hinomoto. It looked identical to the old one but when I got it installed I had to adjust the clutch rod all the way out to get it to work. A week later the throwout bearing started chattering. 2 months later the clutch froze up. I haven't split the tractor again to see what's wrong.

Hey Eugene, thanks for the info. Helped me decide not to go that way.
