Like many this spring, I have been looking to buy a tractor. Im leaning right now toward a TC18 (see post in the general buying section).

In my reading, I found some people saying that the NH mid mount mowers are difficult to attach/detach. Especially the rear discharge model.

Can anyone post the steps for doing this?

Also, can those of you that own this type of mower give their impressions of how difficult this is?

Jon,

Your question is answered in this post.

<A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.tractorbynet.com/cgi-bin/compact/showflat.pl?Cat=&Board=buynh&Number=113967&page=&view=&sb=&o=&vc=1>tc21d price</A>

My impression is that it takes a little longer than the Deere, but not much.

Thanks! The dealer here has a TC18, but no mower. He couldnt remember off the top of his head how hard/easy it was or what was involved.
