I have an older craftsman eager-1 lawn tractor. It is 8HP and I was wondering if anybody knew who made the engine in it back then. I am working and think I am going to need a manual for it. Thanx

How much experience do you have fixing engines?

Do you have the tools in your shop to take one apart and re-condition it or will you need to send it out?

I have experience fixing engines, i have tools to take apart and rebuild an engine. Since I have taken one mower engine completely apart the put it back together in running cond. The reason I might need a manual is because I started this tractor as project, last year I cleaned the Carb completely but did not have time to put the throttle/choke cable back on I cannot remember how it goes on and that is why I may need a manual
