Got the wicked 55 grapple 2 weeks ago 255 lbs and it goes to Daves Tractor Thursday to get 3rd function valve installed , Jarred in the shop said they will install a Ansung. Do any of you guys have one - comments ? My son and I have decided to purchase a Woodland Mills saw mill , grapple should come in handy for loading logs, my property is thick with ideal trees for milling , out buildings ,mill cover etc etc Thanks Dan

I've had a 60" Wicked grapple for a couple years. I run it off a remote on the fender that's close to the joystick. I ran lines up to the loader. Eventually I'll make a 3rd function for it but it works reasonably well as is. I've maxxed out the loader a number of times. Logs get heavy as the diameter increases. The long bottom tine style grapple is better for brush than the shorter root rake style or log grapples. With logs, sometimes I can pick up a log but can't curl it up, because the curl circuit does not have enough power. A grapple design that keeps the log closer to the pivots would be less likely to have that problem (but that might only add another couple hundred lbs capacity).

I have the same setup on my 4815C and it works just fine. Hope you enjoy yours. Very handy tool!
