Anyone tried running E85 in their multi-fuel tractor(s)? Any problems, do you run it as the main fuel or start on regular gas then switch over? Just curious as I see the E85 is about 40 cents a gallon cheaper. Thanks Steve

/ E85 Question #2
Traditionally a multi-fuel tractors like Older IHs and JDs would start on a high qaulity fuel than once warm were switched to a lower qaulity, heavier fuel, like kerosene. Now E85 will burn just like regular gas it just takes more E85 to get the work done. The only problem i would see with using it is it is very corrosive and pratically destroys rubber. So yeah it would run E85 but you would probably end up with a damaged fuel system.
