Is e hydro durable and reliable like other jd products.

Seems to be so far, very few problems reported here on TBN.

Thanks. I like the convenience but was worried about electrical issues.

Yes, e-hydro is very reliable. I personally do not like the "feel" of the ehydro v. the standard, but I have had personally 4 machines with it and they have all given excellent performance and service.

Thanks fir the assistance. Im a gear fan but my family ( who is not a fan of the clutch ) must be able to drive it. I don't mind but the more complex, well y'all know. Thanks again

They're bullet proof. This is my third tractor with one. Plus there's no clutch to wear out. If you plan to do a lot of FEL work it's the way to go.

I've had four JD e-hydros and have never had a single issue with the transmissions.

Great to know. Thanks for the replies. How old are yall's tractors.

I've had one for 3 1/2 years without even the slightest problem. I went in to buy a 5103 but the dealer talked me onto a 4320 ehydro because I was a rookie. Good call on his part.

I have heard about power loss. Is that an rpm issue or a true loss of power at the tranny.
