Bubbajr, Perhaps some of the more enterprising and creative TBN-ers could get together and put on a real mechanically based talent show and call it AMERICAN TRACTOR! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I am amazed at some of the innovative ingenuity I see in the different forums. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif I have little talent so I mostly lurk and hope to snag great ideas from others posts. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
This would give me the ideas and in real motion. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

One thing though, No Real Swearing! Maybe a gosh-dang or hot-dam would do, but not so much as to be offensive, we would want to keep it a family show so I could watch it with my grandkids. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Admitantly they do fab some stuff. Quality asside, the fenders, frame, engine, trans, and up util recently the wheels were all off the shelf orders. They do add their own touch to the tank, bars and chop the fenders to make them orriginal. The immagination is there, some of it is neat. But I usually end up laughing at how they blew up the motor, ruined the paint, or something else rediculous more than respecting their creation.

End of the night, its meant for entertainment I guess..... Just got old to me.

I really enjoy watching Jesse fab a flat peice of sheet metal into a round tank as well as building everything he puts on the bike (except for the engine and trans). I dont doubt for a minute he could actually do it all. Cannot say that for OCC.

Just my personal opinion, even though it may not relate to the orriginal post though.

I'm thinking that somebody should just make a show about Harv. He has some of the best projects around and based on his writing here I would guess that he is a real character as well.

I like American Chopper. Get to see some neat fabrications, warts and all, and I like the relationships they have with each other. If it was just building bikes I wouldn't watch it more than a time or two.

I have the Europe thing Tivo'd and plan to watch it.

American Chopper? Soap operas for guys. If ya can't do your job without all that whining, you need another line of work. I never saw so much hollerin and ******* and moaning – I can’t imagine why anyone would watch it.
