DX 45 with hydrostatic transmission

Was using tractor and both hi/lo switches stopped working , noticed when i push them rpm gauge jumps around and battery light comes on . Any suggestions

Have you checked for evidence of mice? Chewed wires? Poor or corroded electrical connections?

Yes that was my first thought but didnt see anything, was in the middle of using it when this started

Your DX 45 is the same as the NH TC45D, so you might find more information in the New Holland forum.
