It is definitely a nice truck. I would love to have a truck just like it, but am in the same boat as the others...can't justify it.

I’m in a different situation as I have been using dump trucks for 30 years for business-related needs.

They are expensive to buy & maintain, but can also help you make a lot of money.

I bought that truck in November of ‘22, roughly 1.5 years ago. I know how much $ I have in it. I have made 2/3rds of that money back already and should be in the black with it after this winter.

For the seldom to part time user, a 1 ton pickup with a dump trailer, or an old beater dump truck makes a lot more sense.

I drool over dump trailers and smaller dump trucks but I need them only once or twice a year at this point so can't justify having one of my own, so I'll just watch from here for now.

I’m also in the “want a dump trailer but don’t need one “ category. I figure with a 14,000 pound dump trailer I could haul 4 or 5 tons of gravel but that’d be over what I should be hauling with my F150.

I was the same, always wanted the convenience of a dump trailer, but didn't really "need" one. Instead I'd rent one about 2 times a year, have to see who had one available, drive to one town to pick it up, drive to another town to fill it up, drive to my town to dump it, then race back to drop it off so I didn't get charged extra. Too much stress lol So I bought one, 6x12 10k, and I only use it 2 or 3 times a year, but it's on "My Schedule" it's great!
