Dump Trailer Side Boards

I have a 12k dump trailer ( 7x12 ) I have been looking for the side board extensions. I know I could make them out of boards but i would really like to have metal extensions. any idea where or what dump trailer company offers removeable metal side boards? I have seen them before, when I was researching dump trailers, I just can't remember where..

I have a 14' dump trailer and prefer the wood side extension. If you plan on using a CUT or skid steer to load it, I would go with the wood. I am very careful but occassionally hit the sides a little with the bucket. Chip a little wood, no big deal. Bend the metal sides then more of a problem. Wood is easily replaced. What do you plan to haul? It is easy to over load dump trailers with dirt or rock, even without extensions.
I have pressure treated 2x8's on mine. Gave them a little cedar stain and they look great.
It probably wouldn't be hard to make a set of metal ones or have someone make them if needed.

My plan is to rent these trailers out to construction sites, roofing companies, general debris removal. I drop it off and pick it up when full. ( this is a different post) I think the metal has a much better appearance than the wood.

If your going to rent them out, I would push even harder for the wood. It will take a little beating and still be ok or if badly damaged, easily replaced. I am concerned the metal will get beat up. Also, don't make the sides very high. For rental reasons, I would only go 4-6" high. The only reason I would even add an extenstion is to protect the top edge of the trailer. Real easy to overload these kind of trailers especially if used by someone else who has no concept of weight of material. If they do, they may not care. They will often load all they can into them. A trailer with standard 2 foot sides is easily overloaded by dirt or rock. A trailer full of asphalt shingles is easily overloaded.
If hauling light loads such as mulch, trees or wood scraps then the sides can be much higher. You could have different height of sides available depending on the job.

good advise radman.
I am not going to rent them so people can pull them. I am just dropping them off and picking them up. The renters are not allowed to move them once I drop them off.
Maybe if I paint the wood side boards black they would have a better appearance.
