TYM T293
First, sorry if these are dumb questions, but I have to start somewhere ...

I am just ready to pull the trigger on my first tractor and am seriously considering the TYM T293. It comes standard with rear remotes. Now for the dumb questions ... I suppose I need a spool valve and other components to use it, even for a top link or routing to the front to use for a grapple.

What are the components I would need? Is there a primer somewhere that gives the basics as it pertains to tractors?

Thanks.

The valves to operate the remotes will be included with the install of the remotes. You will need hoses with typically 1/2 inch Agricultural male connectors, sometimes called Parker also. but wait until you get the tractor to make sure, of the size of the connector. But they should work "out of the box" . TBN is the best place to find info.. just keep asking questions/and/or use the search facility.. we like to help people.

I am guessing that you have a loader, and therefore want to use one of the spools off the remote to operate a grapple.

You can so that, but there are other ways to operate a grapple.

Diverter valve.

As k0ua said, the valves and quick disconnects with connecting hoses are pare of those factory remotes. What you need to supply are the hydraulic hoses between the quick disconnects and your implements. Tractor Supply or whatever is equivalent in your neighborhood has hose and fittings for the ends of the hoses. Surplus Center and Discount Hydraulic Hose are other sources for parts.

When I bought my 2008 Mahindra 5525 the dealer installed triple remotes--he came up with the design and layout.

This photo shows my wheel disc with the hoses connected between the 5525 and the hydraulic ram (cylinder) on the disc that's used to raise and lower the transport wheels.

Good luck
