dumb newbie question

the retired farmer that sold me the rough mower handed me some top link pins, and a handful of shear bolts too. [or is that sheer?] anyway, he just said, "here - you'll be needing these too until you learn what you are doing".

<font color=blue>When you buy a 3PH implement, does the hardware that cannects it to the 3PH usually come with? Is it attached to the implement in some way? Or was it supposed to come with the tractor?</font color=blue>

The lower pins are usually attached to the implement, as in bolted or welded on. The top pins, in my limited experience, come only with some equipment. My JD and Land Pride stuff came with them.. but my King Kutter didn't. It remains to be seen if my Agri-Supply boom pole implement will be delivered with one or not.

I hope that helps. Best to have a few extras laying around, else you end up having to canabilize existing equipment to get a pin that fits. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Tiller came this morning. Lost a little paint along the way (so much for powder coat) but *did* have a top link pin. So, one for Sweet Tractors.
