Hi everyone.
As some of you know,I purchased a Massey Harris Pony that has been restored and painted in the Massey Harris red color.
Restoration was done about five years ago so ofcourse it has alittle age and patina on it. I need to touch up some knicks, nuts, bolts, etc. so I purchased a rattle can of Massey Harris red enamel. The color matches perfectly but the finish is much more shiny than the tin and other nuts and bolts that do not need touch ups on the tractor.
Question is,any good ideas to knock down the shine of this paint to make the touched up parts blend in better? I thought about very fine sandpaper with a very light touch but that may dull the finish to much. Anyone have a technique they like to use to accomplish what I am trying to do?
Again,thanks for everyones help.
