OK, I'm on the wrong side of 60, but I'm still discovering & learning new things. I'm building a combination 2 car garage in the front with a tractor garage/workshop in the back. Recently I've been doing some work that requires reaching above my head, and after awhile I'd have to stop and tuck my shirt back into my pants because of the stretching above my head, darn nuciance & chilly!

Since I'm over 60, I'm also a victim of a strange Murphy's type of law dealing with gravity...the older you get the stronger gravity becomes. What used to be my chest has been pulled down by gravity and has become part of my tummy; which at times can make it difficult to tighten a belt proberly; in order to keep one's shirt from pulling out while stretching over head.

But then, I had my Duh moment...suspenders! They work great. Thought I'd pass this along for a chuckle, and in case anybody else(besides me), forgot about old fashioned low tech devices.

What is the wrong side??

Wear Carharts, coveralls or bib overhauls!:D

The wrong side would have to be YOUNGER than 60 :D
I know because I'm on the right side.

Me, too, David. As a matter of fact, I'll be 14 this month. Of course that's 14 lustrums, and I probably still wouldn't even know what a lustrum was if Rooster Cogburn hadn't asked the judge, "What's a lustrum?"

And I wear Dickies coveralls almost all the time.:D

Going on 15 Lustrums myself. Carhart Lee Dicky bib overalls. summer time gives good air conditioning by unsnaping the side snaps. pockets to hold most everything up front easy to get to. back pocket hard to reach in a tractor seat.
Winter time, close the air vents and add sweaters and coats to stay warm.
Think the Amish make there own brand of bib clothing. At least from my travels and viewing. Never asked where they got there clothing.
Wish they held up like used to now material so cheap wears out quickly.

Ken, except for church, weddings, and funerals, I never saw my paternal grandfather wear anything but denim bib overalls and a long sleeved blue work shirt. And his job kept him from going to church until he was past 70.
